Mlelwa Afrika Tours and Safaris – Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Reservations
When making a booking with Mlelwa Afrika Tours and Safaris, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit is typically 30% of the total tour cost. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the departure date. If a booking is made within 60 days of the departure date, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your tour, the following cancellation fees apply: 60 days or more before departure, the deposit is forfeited; 30-59 days before departure, 50% of the total tour cost is forfeited; less than 30 days before departure, 100% of the tour cost is forfeited. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations.
3. Alterations by the Client
Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed tour arrangements, we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Any changes must be communicated in writing and may incur additional costs, which will be passed on to you. Significant changes made less than 30 days before departure will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
4. Alterations by Mlelwa Afrika Tours and Safaris
We strive to operate all tours as advertised, but we reserve the right to alter itineraries, accommodation, and transport if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. If we must make a significant change, you will be informed as soon as possible, and if the change is not acceptable, you will have the option to cancel with a full refund or accept the alternative arrangements.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients participating in our tours. This insurance should cover medical expenses, personal injury, repatriation, loss of luggage, and tour cancellations. Proof of insurance must be provided before departure, and clients are responsible for ensuring their insurance is adequate and valid for the duration of their tour.
6. Liability and Responsibility
Mlelwa Afrika Tours and Safaris, its employees, and agents act only as agents for the clients in making arrangements for transportation, hotels, and other services. We shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by any act or omission of any service provider. Clients are responsible for their own actions and must adhere to the laws and regulations of the countries visited.
7. Health and Safety
Clients must ensure they are in good health and physically fit to undertake the tour. Any existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline any participant whose condition may affect the safety, health, or enjoyment of the tour. Clients must comply with all health and safety instructions provided by our guides and local authorities.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which Mlelwa Afrika Tours and Safaris is registered. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of our registered country.
